Rated 5 out of 5 by Nancy K from D5 is awesome! I fell asleep with chicken, carrots and potatoes brewing in my 8 quart D5 pot. The water boiled out and all the food was stuck to the bottom and black! I thought my pot was gone but loaded it up with my non-toxic dishwashing gel and let it sit. A few days passed and all the bones and blackened food lifted up and easily peeled out! It looks brand new and still works just great! I am getting ready to buy the 12 quart!Date published: 2018-12-21Rated 5 out of 5 by Cooking Rick from Solid Product I've been waiting a long time to buy this pot and now that I have it, I don't know what held me back. It's the best!Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Nelly AA from Awesome Pots I bought 2, and got rid of the Le Creuset set that I had. Not only matches my demeyer industry 5 cookware that I have. But also, it heats as wells as my demeyer pots. I am enjoying cooking my soups and broths in them. Highly recommend them. :-)Date published: 2018-01-18Rated 5 out of 5 by HawaiianBreeze from Great Size Soup Pot My family is 6 people and this pot gives us plenty of our favorite soup with leftovers. Easy to clean. Would recommend this pot to anyone.Date published: 2016-12-25Rated 5 out of 5 by YukonJack from Great Stock Pot Tough, well-built stock pot that heats up evenly. Feels as if it will last more than a lifetime. Cleans easily. A joy to use.Date published: 2016-11-06Rated 5 out of 5 by brokenfingers from crazy efficient They aren't kidding, it will do more with less heat. We have a glass cook top and with the old stock pot, we'd have to set it to medium high to maintain the boil. This d5 stockpot, once it started boiling, we had to turn it down to just barely on to do the same thing. Definitively a must for processing sauces and other foods for canning.Date published: 2016-09-04Rated 5 out of 5 by Brewmaster from Great for big batches of sauces After purchasing a full set of AllClad this past Christmas, we found we still needed a really large pot for pasta sauces and chilis. The 12 qt size is a bit pricey but I really like the D5 construction for being able to evenly heat and simmer something for a long period of time. My D5 pots and pans are great. If you need a large stock pot, you won't be disappointed.Date published: 2016-02-16Rated 4 out of 5 by RbjandRBJ from Great Product, But . . . The product is an excellent example of well-made, substantial cookware. The d5 pouring lip is an improvement on the overall design both functionally and stylistically. Service from William Sonoma was seamless. But, I thought more highly of All-Clad customer service. This purchase was made as part of a rebate quest across retailers. I read the rebate coupon carefully, complied with all stated requirements and received part of the rebate. After several intermediary phone calls, finally reach Tom, a supervisor in the All Clad Customer Services Department. Tom patiently explained that I had misunderstood what was not stated on the rebate coupon thus rendering my request ineligible. At this point, we could only agree to disagree because clearly, Tom was either not able or was unwilling to provide the rebate I thought I was entitled to receive. The point, read the rebate coupons carefully but expect to be rejected for that which isn’t there to be read or understood.Date published: 2014-05-27
