Rated 4 out of 5 by dalden from In all fairness...... Regarding the non stick All-clad frying pans.. a few reviews say that the non stick coated pans had defects and sticking and peeling of the finish occurred. I purchased the set of 8 and 10 inch non sticks before the d5 came out. The 8 inch began peeling around the outer edges, similar to the photo one reviewer posted. The earlier pans with non stick were NOT dishwasher recommended, and that was MY mistake. So if you had the issue of peeling or sticking, that may have been why if you did what I did and put the pans in the dishwasher.Date published: 2019-01-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Dawn from LOVE ALL-CLAD FRYING PANS I have the 12” and 14” frying pans and absolutely love them. They cook evenly and brown nicely. The 14” is nice and big and I can cook my chicken cutlets faster and it fits perfectly on a large burner. I hand wash my pans to keep them nice. They are made well.Date published: 2018-05-06Rated 5 out of 5 by JLB0602 from Love all my All Clad! I don't understand all the negative reviews on the All Clad d5 Nonstick fry pans. I have had the 8" and 10" d5 nonstick pans for several years and love them. Mine don't look quite like new, but close. I also have a full set of d5 regular stainless All Clad. I prefer the regular stainless, but the nonstick is great for certain things. I use mine mostly for frittatas and scrambled or fried eggs (almost daily). My 10" often goes in the oven for frittatas, which flip out with ease. My 10" pan also has the domed lid, which is great to steam-saute veggies. I never have trouble with sticking. I don't understand those comments. You do have to be careful of the heat with All Clad. You definitely need to use lower heat than other pans. I admit I have not been easy on these pans, which I think also speaks well for them. Though I do try to use wood or silicone utensils, I don't baby them. All Clad says it's OK for these pans to go in the dishwasher--so mine do--as with the rest of my All Clad. Before these, I had another upscale brand of nonstick skillet, which was OK, but I much prefer the All Clad.Date published: 2018-01-07Rated 2 out of 5 by misab from Not worth the money I bought this nonstick pan 5 years ago at the same time that I bought a regular d5 skillet and chefs pan. I love the regular stainless steel pans, but this one was not worth the money I paid for it. Initially we loved it, but it has not withstood the test of time. We use it almost daily, so it has definitely gotten a lot of use and we always use silicone or plastic utensils on it and hand wash. Today food sticks to it. It looks like there are many tiny scratches on the nonstick surface and it never looks really clean. I would not recommend or buy again.Date published: 2017-03-05Rated 1 out of 5 by FormerAllCladFan from Dont buy All-Clad Non-Stick Pans Let me start by saying that my wife and I have a huge collection of All-Clad Pots and Pans. We decided to try their "Non-Stick" 12 " frying pan #11442. HUGE mistake. We have cheap, bargain brand non-stick pans that are twice the age as this All-Clad and work as new. Even scrambled eggs stick in this pan and cleaning off the stuck residue is very time consuming!!! We take excellent care of our pans and NEVER use metal utensils with them. STAY AWAY FROM ALL-CLAD NON-STICK!! I am trying to proceed with All-Clad's "Lifetime Guarantee" but dont have much hope.Date published: 2016-04-03Rated 1 out of 5 by AMEPK from Not a good buy After less than a year, the non-stick coating started to peel off from the inside of the rim. My last pan was from a discount store and lasted about 7 years and cost 19.99 and worked well -- so by comparison, this pan is is not good at all, way over priced and is not worth the money!! Do not buy!Date published: 2014-12-21Rated 1 out of 5 by duke55 from save your money I bought several non stick pans thinking that all-clad would be better than the rest. I can say after about a year of use the non stick finish started coming off while I was cleaning it with a sponge. if non stick cook ware is what you need or want save your money and buy something less expensive. I would not recommend this product.Date published: 2014-12-01Rated 2 out of 5 by HollyMA from Not up to snuff I have to agree with the other poor and fair reviews. While my other All Clad d5 pieces are great; the non stick pan just isn't a player. It worked great when new but within a year, the performance has suffered. Food sticks to the pan even when using a bit of oil. The non stick finish has worn down and is pitted, and I'm careful to hand wash and use non metal utensils. I would skip this piece when considering the d5 line.Date published: 2014-11-27
