Rated 1 out of 5 by Scotyg281 from Not flat, burns food, turns black, hard to clean Not at all impressed with this overpriced pan. Burns food due to uneven surface , Oil stays on the side of the pan not in the middle. Pan burns and it’s in possible to clean.Date published: 2019-02-27Rated 5 out of 5 by MTodd from A very versatile pan. Great for one pan dishes. It is a larger pan and I use it like a French cook top by off setting the pan on the burner. Because the heat disperses through the copper I brown on one side of the pan and move each element to the other side of the pan where it can continue to cook at a lower temp. Once everything is cooked I can add liquid move the pan to the center and simmer to finish.Date published: 2017-06-08Rated 5 out of 5 by wycook from Perfect Saute Pan What a wonderful pan! We've cooked pork chops, chicken breasts, salmon, and beef steak in it already. We are thrilled that we have absolutely no hot spots in this pan. The browning has been beautiful, yet the pan has been easily cleaned with olive oil soap and a nylon scrubby. Vegetables have also cooked evenly every time. This pan was a good investment and made us better cooks instantly. Also love the design of the handle, which keeps it from heating up -- very clever.Date published: 2017-01-12Rated 5 out of 5 by Sarah11 from beautiful pan and very versatile I am a fan of the copper core line. It browns food beautifully, and it heats evenly. I cooked Steak au poivre and it turned delicious. It becomes nonstick when heated properly, so there is no need to use a lot of oil when cooking. Cleaning is very easy. Just use some hot water, or deglaze the pan after cooking and it will look like new. This is a great investment if you look for good quality and performance.Date published: 2016-10-04Rated 5 out of 5 by ChefIngrid from Wish I Had Bought One Yrs Ago: Best Pan Ever! After a full year of almost-DAILY use, I still LOVE THIS PAN!! It heats up fast and evenly, all the way across the bottom, and cooks everything beautifully. Browning meat, sauting large batches of veggies, making pancakes, casseroles, etc are all easy. It's amazingly convenient to brown/sear items on the stovetop, then simply move the pan into the oven for the remainder of the cooking time. I sometimes do batch cooking on the weekends, preparing most of the meals for the coming week. This pan easily handled the large volumes, and was easy to clean. I worried about keeping it shiny because other SS pans I've had in the past could be difficult, especially after cooking eggs or making syrup. Surprise! This All-Clad is extremely easy to clean. And it's beautiful to have in the kitchen. I LOVE this pan, and wish I hadn't waited so long to buy one!Date published: 2015-12-21Rated 1 out of 5 by Cenolar from Crowns in the center when heated I just got this pan and so far I am very disappointed considering how much I paid for it. It crowns up in the center when I heat it and all the oil/broth rolls to the sides. I expect better from All-Clad and Williams Sonoma. I plan on contacting customer service.Date published: 2015-02-18Rated 5 out of 5 by BirdsOfFire from Cooks better than my grandmother's Bought this last summer at the Williams-Sonoma in the university district of Fort Worth. Told myself we were insane to pay this much for a fricassee pan. Then my wife got it home and made Chicken Cacciatore with it. Better chicken cacciatore than my grandmother made! This pan is the bomb. Worth the price and more. Chicken breading held together perfect, meat was tender, flavors were kept true, excellent fricassee pan.Date published: 2015-01-19Rated 5 out of 5 by karzats from Unbelievable Bought the 6 qt. sauté and 12" copper core fry pans and felt a bit foolish spending this kind of $$ on pans. THEN, I got home and cooked with them. Unbelievable! Best purchases ever. I use them all the time, including using the 6 Qt for French toast!! cooked on higher heat with sourdough and olive oil. Cleanup a cinch and heat evenly distributed for great even browning. Won't go into sautéed chicken dishes and fried eggs. The go to pans. 5 *****Date published: 2014-10-04
