Elite chefs depend on All-Clad's Copper Core cookware because of its superb responsiveness to heat, essential for making reductions and sauces. Deeper than a traditional fry pan, this versatile piece features a large surface area and tall, straight sides that offer the convenience of browning or searing, then deglazing or finishing in liquid—all in one pan.
- Five-ply construction of securely bonded metals: a thick, extremely heat-responsive copper core sandwiched between two layers of highly conductive aluminum with an easy-clean stainless-steel exterior and interior that won't react with foods.
- Allows for the quickest heat-up time, maximum temperature control and rapid, even heat distribution.
- Super-responsive cookware works well for recipes requiring precise temperature control, such as delicate sauces.
- A ring of copper adds a finishing touch to the gleaming exterior.
- Riveted stainless-steel handles stay cool on the cooktop.
- Ideal for use on any type of cooktop, including induction.
- Hand crafted in the USA with materials from the USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Unwoven from Great I got this as a gift about a month ago. I just love this pan, it works GREAT to cook my Hubby's favorite rice and beans dish. No sticking, easy clean up all around great panDate published: 2019-06-29Rated 4 out of 5 by xela from The perfect pan! The size, shape, and even heating of this pan is incredible. I'm so happy with the copper core line. The only reason this isn't getting 5 stars is because there's an issue with the quality of craftsmanship on my particular pan; however, this seems to be rare with All-Clad in general.Date published: 2019-05-04Rated 4 out of 5 by Sumshopper from WS has wrong dimensions listed This is a must have for any avid cook at home looking to invest in high quality cookware. In terms of quality and performance, it is as expected from the All Clad brand. But, as the previous reviewer said, it is a disappointment that All Clad didn’t use the same lid with its logo on the handle like the d5 line. I would expect to have the premium lid for their most premium line. After shopping around we decided on this one because it had the diameter we were looking for, which was at least 12”. This 5 quart deep sauté pan has a 12.75” diameter and not 13” as listed on this product page. If you were wondering why the 6 quart copper core sauté pan has the exact same dimensions listed as this one with a difference of 1lb in weight, but the price between the 5 qt and 6 qt from the copper line is more than 200 dollars difference, they have the dimensions wrong on both. The 5 quart is 12.75” diameter with a depth of 2.75” at 5 lbs and the 6 quart is 13.75” diameter with a depth of 2.75”, and a weight of 6 lbs. I verified this by calling All Clad’s customer service.Date published: 2019-04-10Rated 4 out of 5 by boo84 from Disappointed with the lid...pan is excellent. The 5 qt copper core saute pan is absolutely as wonderful as I expected it to be after having several other All Clad pieces, I LOVE IT! However...I cannot give it the 5 stars it deserves because I am seriously dissapointed with the lid. My other pieces with lids are the d5 line and their lids say All Clad on the handle. This one does not. This makes it difficult to quickly grab the right lid because there is no identification and difference between it and the lids to some of my other much lower quality cookware pieces. As far as lids go, it functions fine, but it doesn't match the d5 pieces and therefore grabbing for it isn't as streamlined. I have looked at the pictures closely and now see that the lids are different on the d5 line versus the copper core line so I didn't get a wrong lid...I just expected better, I guess. Especially for what the copper clad line costs. And maybe nobody else mixes the lines like I do so they don't care...I went with copper core for my 12' skillet (no lid) and this saute pan but saved money on sauce pans by going with d5 there.Date published: 2019-04-02Rated 5 out of 5 by HannahNYC from Gorgeous pot I love these pots. Even cook, great look.Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 5 out of 5 by FredM from If you love to cook ... this is the pan to buy ... If you love to cook ... and I do ... just spend the money and buy this pan. Whereas most 'chefs' use the standard fried egg or omelet to test cast iron or steel pans for even heating and seasoned non-stick properties ... I use the sautéed onion test. Take two large onions, sliced very thin, and place them in a seasoned skillet on a low light with a little oil and forget about them for an hour or so. Then see what happens. In the All-Clad Copper Core what happens is pure magic. This pan, as with all the All Clad Copper Core series is absolutely marvelous. Even and manageable heating across the entire surface. Better than anything I've ever used.Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Rich from a real joy to use awesome to cook with even heating browns well easy to cleanDate published: 2018-12-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Fisherman from What a pan! How is this copper core deep saute pan($249.95) different from the other copper core saute pan which has options in 3qt($360)or 6qt($550)?Hi Evee, The deep sauté pan has a 5-qt. capacity, 13" diameter with a 2 3/4" height (4 1/2" height with lid) and weighs 6 lbs. with lid. The regular sauté pans' dimensions are: 3-qt. sauté: 10 1/2" diameter, 2 1/2" high; 6 lbs. with lid. 6-qt. sauté: 13" diameter, 2 3/4" high; 8 lbs. with lid.Date published: 2019-04-04
