Rated 4 out of 5 by Number #1 from Am pleased with it. However, would like to be able to customized the time the food cooks.Date published: 2019-04-28Rated 5 out of 5 by Queen Bee from SIMPLE, ELEGANT, PRACTICAL Performs well and looks beautiful!Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 3 out of 5 by Chef Cindy from Beautiful, but no cookbook or on-line "how to cook" support. I was so excited to receive this wonderful product; I am a frequent crockpot user. However, I now realize that a using a slow-cooker may require an entirely different approach and skill set. I have emailed Williams and Sonoma, All-clad and searched on-line for product-specific recipe books....none to be found. I was shown a book that I can purchase, but it is not specifically for the features of this piece of equipment. There was one demonstration on the WS website, but the chef went way too fast and I was unable to simply locate and print her recipe for the braised chicken. So...it looks really beautiful sitting out in my kitchen, but I am afraid to use it lest I do something wrong...wasting good ingredients and my time. There has not been a satisfying or personalized response from the vendor or the manufacturer.Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 3 out of 5 by Am from Wishing it worked This was a gift, the first slow cooker did not work at all. We returned and received a new slow cooker it worked (yay) first meal was great then I cleaned it out and found that the copper lining was separating from the pan... frustrated to say the least.Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 3 out of 5 by chicago from I'm not sure This is not a cheap, run of the mill slow cooker. I decided that I enjoy using a slow cooker and got rid of my perfectly good, inexpensive cooker and bought this 5 quart cooker which I felt would enhance my slow cooking. However, the instructions with the cooker were minimal. There are more settings and a hard to read panel. You have to turn the cooker on its side to read what everything on the panel says. Additionally, this is the first of several slow cookers I have bought over the years, the most expensive and the ONLY one with no recipes! Wow! I made a meatloaf, but because I couldn't figure out how to use the browning element, it really wasn't as good as I was accustomed to making in my slow cookers. I'm sure this is a great cooker, but boy All Clad didn't make it easy to get started. I would recommend it ONLY with the understanding that it will take some time to learn to use it and ALL CLAD isn't much help.Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 4 out of 5 by Elizabeth from Instructions Need a better manual on how to use the browning and slow cooking function. Offer a cookbook and/or recipes which explain how to use the Cooker.Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 5 out of 5 by APW from Bought one for me and one as a gift Browning and slow cooking are the best features . Keeps the pot clean up minimal.Date published: 2018-12-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Gilly from Great features compared to my old, but still working, crockp Love the browning feature, & also the "lit-up" timer you can see from across the room. All recipes I've made so far have turned out great.Date published: 2018-12-13
I can’t find how to delay start. If it can’t, I am going to have to return it since I haven’t used it yet.Hi Lynn, Delay start is not an option as bacteria can begin to grow if food is left at unsafe temperature ranges.Date published: 2019-04-29
