Rated 5 out of 5 by SherriFoodConnoisseur from Michel Bras Mandoline I purchased the Michel Bras Mandoline 4 months ago and love it. It is so easy to use and makes eating vegetables more fun with the different sizes and shapes I can create with the mondoline. This is an awesome tool as I make sushi often and use the julienne blades. My favorite is the crinkle cut blade using squash that I saute in a cast iron pan with coconut oil, dash of cal-tic sea salt and it comes out like I took it off the grill. My husband even eats the squash. I have so much fun using the mandoline making my veggie tray that I bring to the BBQ are always the topic of discussion of the professional presentation displayed. I would recommend this mandoline as a state of the art slicer.Date published: 2015-05-14
How long are the blades expected to last? Can they be sharpened? If not, how much do replacement blades cost? My fear is buying a specialty product, which is later discontinued, and the blades are no longer available. A Mandoline should last a lifetimeHi Example jackie27, How long the blades' sharpness lasts depends on how the mandoline is used. The blades cannot be sharpened. We do not offer replacement blades for purchase but you can contact the manufacturer for them.Date published: 2018-12-22
