Rated 1 out of 5 by Patricia from Not a quality item. I have purchased this ironing board twice. Most recently, the wood was stamped: "Valsecchi - Made in Italy" but the board I ordered earlier was not. The quality of the first board I ordered was poor, but the Valsecchi one is even lower quality. The cover is basically cheesecloth. You can see through the top, it is that thin. Nevertheless, I ordered this particular item because I needed a lighter board and one of a slightly smaller size - one for my own use and the other for a rental. The lesser quality one will go in the rental since it will not be getting daily use, and I will have a better ironing board cover made for it. I would not recommend this item unless, as I did, you have specific needs that require a smaller ironing board. If cost is not an issue and you want quality, obtain the measurements and have a competent woodworker make one for you.Date published: 2019-04-26Rated 5 out of 5 by Jess from Made in Italy It’s beautiful and can keep in small space and don’t have to conceal. I know expensive but probably my last ironing board purchase. I’ve had it for three years and enjoy the aesthetics and like knowing it was made in Italy.Date published: 2018-11-04Rated 2 out of 5 by Nic F from Disappointing This ironing board is much more light weight than I expected. Over priced. Was expecting it to be heavy and sturdy. It actually feels like it is tipping sometimes. I was looking for one similar to the wooden heavyweight board we actually have in our family home in Italy, so when I saw this “made in Italy”, I expected it to be the same. Unfortunately it is not at all as good of quality as the board we have in Italy. Disappointed.Date published: 2018-07-24
