Rated 5 out of 5 by Laura from Great Bread Pan I bought this pan to make sandwich bread in, and without using any oil, it releases the bread with just a plastic spatula along the sides. Beautiful golden crust. Great pan.Date published: 2018-10-07Rated 5 out of 5 by B Rab from Best Housewarming Gift!! Had to track down where my friend got this pan from so I could order another! I received this as a gift with a sourdough starter when I moved into my new house. Its been amazing having fresh baked sourdough and, since this pan is so easy to bake with, I have actually continued making it every week. Recently I started making other breads, (using the zucchini from my garden mainly, so delicious!) and gearing up for fall I figured it would be time to think about getting another for Pumpkin Bread season. Loafs bake evenly and release right out when cooled, would recommend for anyone looking to step up their baking or even for the once and a while bread maker - makes the perfect loaf!Date published: 2018-08-08Rated 1 out of 5 by jude from bread never releases without digging it out These pans have such great reviews, but I have had the same experience one reviewer had except mine have never released my bread, and I bake bread 2-4x a week and have given up using the Goldtouch pans. I have followed all manufacturer's directions. What is going wrong?Date published: 2018-04-21Rated 1 out of 5 by Danny Joe from Refuse to release my bread I've had these bread pans now for about a year. When I first got them they worked extremely well releasing the bread without a problem. But now I can't get my bread out without ripping the crust. I've never used any sort of baking spray (Pam) and I wash them with water and maybe a little soap. I bake sourdough bread in these pans about every, 10 days, and it is so frustrating to see your hard work ruined by a pan. I'm going back to my 30 year old Wilion pans. I am so disappointed to have wasted my money on these highly rated (and admittedly beautiful) pans.Date published: 2017-10-27Rated 5 out of 5 by PeatMoss from Best Bread Pans! These goldtouch nonstick loaf pans are fantastic! I purchased two 1.5 lb pans. I've made cinnamon bread, whole grain wheat bread and each have come out perfect.Date published: 2017-10-07Rated 5 out of 5 by Stlouis2016 from Releases beautifully. Cooks evenly This is the greatest loaf pan ever. Love it. Everything that I have baked in it turns out perfect and releases beautifully.Date published: 2017-09-26Rated 5 out of 5 by Little bee bakery from Great bread pan I have used the 1lb loaf pan for many moons now, I find the bread to bake a little faster than my darker pans. Zero issues, easy release. I don't like the fold over corners, but it's not a deal breaker. I do use these pans almost everyday.Date published: 2017-07-18Rated 5 out of 5 by NYcitygirl from Bakes like a dream This is the perfect loaf pan. Baked goods are evenly baked, the non stick releases easily, and clean up is effortless. It is sturdy and looks like it could last a lifetime. I actually have had the larger size for many years, and it is great too.Date published: 2017-05-02
Does the USA Goldtouch Nonstick loaf pans require greasing and/or flouring when baking yeast or sweet breads?I'm not sure about bread baking, but I do grease and flour them for cake baking.Date published: 2013-10-22
Are these rust-free and stackable?yes, they are stackable and rust free. I didn't find that with the silver finish pans (cookie sheets). I have between 15 and 20 of the gold tone baking wear items, and none of them are scratched or rusted.Date published: 2013-10-22
Can you use the Goldtouch Nonstick Loaf Pan for meatloaf?yes. I use mine for meatloaf all the time, as a matter of fact, I have the meatloaf pan.Date published: 2013-10-22
The coating on my pan comes off after cleaning. I've never put it in the dishwasher. Is this safe to use? It also rusted on the outside bottom.i love all my other pans and just want to know if this is usual of these pans and if its safe to use. Ive never actually used the pan yet.I've never had the issue of the goldtone coming off, and I have between 15 and 20 of these pans. I don't put them in the dishwasher. They are too easy to clean to need to do that.Date published: 2013-10-22
Pan sizeWhat is the standard loaf pan size for most bread recipes such as zucchini bread, pound cake, or banana bread? 1 pound or 1.5 pounds? I am not sure which of these sizes to get...Usually 1# pans work best certainly for zucchini/banana bread and pound cake and for many yeast breads. I do have recipes that make 11/2# loaves however which is why I have two of each size.Date published: 2013-10-22
