Rated 1 out of 5 by egcook from Pan is Peeling Apart Bought this pan in May and only 6 months later the nonstick is peeling out of the pan. Cooks like a dream, but 6 months is not long enough to last for the price. Could have bought a much cheaper pan to have it peel 6 months later.Date published: 2018-11-17Rated 2 out of 5 by barbaraj0917 from Frustrated with peeling pan This pan was excellent in the beginning. Unfortunately after using it for close to a year it began to peel. I contacted All Clad and they have been extremely difficult to work with. I have sent in the requested photo of my peeling pan and they claimed that the file was too large and it couldn't be opened. After much delay and no response from them I reached out again, sending new photos. Now they want me to send in the pan and they will decide if they will honor the supposed lifetime warranty. This has been a VERY disappointing experience with All Clad. I have many All Clad pans and products in my kitchen, and have been very satisfied with the product. Now, I may have to find a different supplier. All Clad is not shy about charging premium prices for their products, and I'm willing to pay for quality, however this has been a very disappointing experience. Because of other reviews and the difficult response from All Clad, I'm assuming that my pan won't be replaced. This is obviously a problem with All Clad's design of their nonstick pan. Many reviews are indicating a problem with peeling of the nonstick coating.Date published: 2018-09-24Rated 5 out of 5 by VintageRed from Love these pans! Have had All-Clad for over a decade. Love all of them. These omelette pans are sturdy and wear very well. We store them hanging or with pads between them to prevent scratch/pit of the non-stick coating (recommended by all brands). We also wash by hand with a soft cloth/sponge. Eggs and caramel roll right off; even frying/toasting sugar bread is easy with this pan. Would love this same pan in a 12-14 inch size.Date published: 2018-04-14Rated 2 out of 5 by Riez1 from Expected better wear I purchased both sizes of this pan, neither is what I would consider wearing well. I have only usied Chalphalon , Chantal, lecruset for 33 years. This was my first all clad and it pits I have two darkening spots on the 10 inch and literally it is only used for eggs. very disappointedDate published: 2018-03-30Rated 3 out of 5 by Thee Bandit from COULD OF EASILY RATED THIS PAN 5 STARS Just purchased this 10" omelette pan on the 31st of January, so excited to try it out. Yesterday we had eggs and bacon and the eggs came out remarkably better than any I have made before. I used the correct utensils per the sales person and the use directions that came in the box. After I had washed it I noticed the bottom of the pan had scratches all over it. I was shocked, this pan looked like it was years old not 4 days old and only used 1x. Is this to be expected or should I be bringing it back?Date published: 2018-02-04Rated 5 out of 5 by Jason1976 from Simply perfect This makes a great omelet. Wide, flat bottom for perfect size and even egg distribution. Shallow sides makes plate transfer easy. If you’re like me and not an omelet pro (I don’t flip it or move the eggs around) get the TK 12” universal lid and cover the pan to help cook the top of the eggs. Only gripe is that this is a costly venture for just an omelet/eggs but I’m hoping I’ll use it for other things.Date published: 2018-01-27Rated 2 out of 5 by tagshull from Great pan---but nonstick surface peels I would give this pan 5 stars, because I love the size and the shallow sides, except the nonstick surface has begun to peel from the edge in a full sheet, making it unusable. I do put it in the dishwasher (specs say it is dishwasher safe). It lasted two years, not enough time for such an expensive pan.Date published: 2017-12-27Rated 3 out of 5 by LiveTheGoodLife from Good pan, but surface deteriorates with use I have two of these pans, one I purchased in-store, and the other online, both from Williams-Sonoma. Over the course of a few years, the non-stick surface deteriorated on both, even though it was used as instructed (medium-low to medium heat 4-5 on induction cooktop which goes to a 9, an average of 30 minutes total per use, hand-wash, no scrubbers). The manufacturer honored the warranty on one pan, but not on the second. Made in USA, good weight, even heating, easy to hold the handle, life of about five years. I no longer use these pans -- the surface deterioration becomes a slippery slope, as you'll need to use butter/oil to counter it. I have other non-stick pans from the same line that get used more often, but have none of the surface deterioration that I experienced with these pans.Date published: 2017-11-26
