Pomegranate Margarita

The recipe for this Pomegranate Margarita was created by Laila Grainawi, bartender at Cocktail Courier. Toast the fall harvest by shaking up her creative twist on the classic Margarita, showcasing the ruby-red juice of pomegranates, bursting with sweet-tart flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. (45 ml) silver tequila
- 3/4 oz. (20 ml) fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz. (15 ml) pomegranate juice
- 1/4 oz. (7 g) agave nectar
- Dehydrated lime wheel for garnish
Directions
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the tequila, lime juice, pomegranate juice and agave nectar. Shake vigorously until well chilled, about 10 seconds. Strain into a chilled ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with the lime wheel and serve. Makes 1 drink.
