Colomba

The perfect beverage for toasting the New Year, this sparkling cocktail was developed by Charles Joly, a member of the Williams Sonoma 2023 Chefs’ Collective. Charles cofounded Crafthouse Cocktails and is a leader in the international craft cocktail movement. His recipe includes both alcoholic and nonalcoholic versions, so you’ll have something for everyone to enjoy at your gathering.

Charles explains that there are many alcohol-free and alcohol-removed sparkling wines on the market now, and the quality has really improved. “The nice thing with nonalcoholic ingredients is that you can easily have them shipped to you anywhere in the country,” he says. The Seedlip Grove 42, a nonalcoholic spirit called for in his recipe, is available nationwide.
