When the craving for chocolate hits, this warm, gooey mug cake is the perfect dessert for one, since it comes together in just a few minutes. Serve it as is, warm from the microwave, or top it with ice cream or lightly sweetened whipped cream (or both!) for an especially decadent treat.

  • 3 Tbs. unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbs. water

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely disgusting I bought several different flavors of these cakes and they are all pretty bad. At over 3 dollars and 480 calories they are overpriced and not worth the calories. Really disappointing for what I thought would be a premium product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I’d give it a 0 if I could! To Salty! Absolutely Terrible! I made this and it’s way to much salt. As I was putting it together I thought it was to much sugar and flour as well but went on. 30 seconds is not long enough to cook this and it is just incredibly salty with a hint of chocolate. I do not recommend at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will make again. Needed to cook for 45 seconds because I have a low wattage microwave, but the cake was fudgey and chocolatey with only a slight taste of the raw flour (which is naturally very hard to overcome with microwave cakes.) Can easily be split by two people.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too rich and too salty The measurement of the ingredients are too much. 1/2 flour for 1 serving is a quite a lot. 3 tablespoons of butter is too rich, 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder is excessive, and 1/8 teaspoon is too salty. Heating up for 30 seconds is not enough. You can't tell if it's cook or not. It has to be at least a minute.
