Made in Japan of an advanced ceramic, the blade of this knife holds its exceptionally sharp edge up to ten times longer than steel and won’t react with foods. The knife’s remarkably lightweight, ergonomic design reduces fatigue during repetitive cutting chores. With a shape reminiscent of a slender cleaver, the nakiri is designed for chopping, slicing and mincing fresh produce. Blade is made from zirconium oxide, a state-of-the-art ceramic that holds a razor-sharp edge far longer than traditional steel.

Our petite ceramic bowl echoes the classic silhouette of a tagine—the traditional North African cooking vessel used to prepare one of the region’s most famous dishes. Artisans hand-paint the orange interiors of the cream-colored stoneware bowls, creating unique servers for salt, pepper or other condiments. A versatile classic, our round basket captures the charm of woven wicker basketry in white-glazed porcelain. Each basket takes nine days to handcraft, from hand rolling each length of porcelain and carefully weaving them together to glazing and firing. The result is a durable display piece for whole fruits on a countertop, treasured objects on a coffee table or folded napkins on a buffet. For decorative use only due to open structure. These yellow ceramic bowls have a rustic vintage character that recalls farmhouse kitchens.
