Easy Sloppy Joes
Dinner doesn’t get much easier than this, thanks to our sloppy Joe starter. Bonus: make a double batch of this kid-pleasing food for reheat-and-eat midweek suppers.
- 2 Tbs. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 jar sloppy Joe starter
- 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted
In a sauté pan over medium-high heat, warm the oil. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, 10 to 12 minutes, using a wooden spoon to break up any large chunks. Add the sloppy Joe starter and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Divide the sloppy Joe mixture among the hamburger buns and serve immediately. Serves 6.
