Williams Sonoma Oven Thermometer
An oven’s set temperature isn’t always equal to its actual temperature. For accurate temperature readings at a glance, place this commercial-quality thermometer next to food in the oven—or clip it to an oven rack or roasting pan. The thermometer's dial displays large numerals in 5°F (2°C) increments. Use it for everyday baking, to calibrate a new oven or to replace an oven’s old-fashioned mercury thermometer.
- Measures temperatures from 140°F to 610°F (60°C to 320°C).
- Large numerals facilitate quick temperature reading.
- Use alone or with the handy built-in clip.
- Crafted of easy-to-clean brushed stainless steel.
- Wipes clean with a damp cloth.

Rated 2 out of 5 by IdaMae from All ovens lie; this doesn't help much at all. Have tried nearly every brand of oven thermometer on the market; none seem to be reliable. Hoped for a much better product from WS, but not so, unfortunately. It's been suggested that once the oven reaches the desired temp, leave it on for an additional 20 mins. before adding food, which we do every time. Thermometer still stays put at the same 300 without moving, no matter how long the oven is on. Am disappointed and would not buy again, even on sale. To return would cost shipping dollars or a 40-mile round trip to a store, so won't bother. Also, while the dial is a bit easier to read than other brands, it still isn't large enough to see perfectly clearly through the glass oven door.Date published: 2016-12-14Rated 5 out of 5 by roxstyle from getting the heat right there is no frustration like spending an hour of prep time only to have a recipe undercook, or overcook to dissatisfaction. This thermometer is right on the degree and easy to read.Date published: 2016-10-08Rated 1 out of 5 by Ginny10 from Poor quality I thought I could trust William Sonoma for putting a good oven timer as one of their products.....but no it was awful and I could never get it to work right....it had gotten stained from my oven roasting and I tried cleaning and I could not remove the stains and therefore, I could not read it anymore.....this was one of the worst oven timer I ever had.Date published: 2016-06-21Rated 1 out of 5 by TooCool from Very Inaccurate We thought our oven ran a little hot, and cooked things too quickly, so we bought this thermometer to check. Unfortunately, it consistently reads fifty (50) degrees COOLER than the oven's own thermometer. There is no way items would cook properly at the temp this thermometer indicates. Pretty useless.Date published: 2016-06-15Rated 1 out of 5 by doberman from Made Cheap. It is useless. Only had a couple of weeks, spot weld came apart, can no longer hang on shelf. Cannot sit on shelf, it is in the way of cookie sheets. When I load in cookie sheets I knock it over. Made cheap. It is NOT the same hanger that is shown in the picture.Date published: 2016-03-02Rated 4 out of 5 by salsamama from DID NOT MEET OVEN TEMPERTURE The oven thermometer never reached the oven setting that was placed. It read roughly 25 degrees less than the setting of 350.Date published: 2016-02-16Rated 5 out of 5 by PalmSpringsBaker from Williams-Sonoma Oven Thermometer Purchased two for our brand new ovens in our new home. We were thrilled to discover the ovens were perfectly calibrated. The thermometer and the ovens are in sync and work harmoniously together. Highly recommended product! Happy Holidays Everyone!Date published: 2015-12-24Rated 1 out of 5 by like2bake from Not Accurate I bought two of these to go in each gas oven in a 48" range. Both are inaccurate by 25-40 degrees. I kept turning up my ovens to get to the right temperature and then either burned or dried out my foods. (Mostly my baking was affected.) I finally had a service call to have them recalibrated, but it turns out that the ovens are fine, it's these thermometers. The technician said that this type never works, or only works for a few times. Put your money towards a digital/electric thermometer instead.Date published: 2015-10-16
