Rated 3 out of 5 by Jhmme from Not what I was hoping for... This cookbook is for for someone who likes to shop and cook unique dishes. I hate to shop and I like cooking but my family is picky. Basic meat and potatoes or similar yet healthy dishes is their preference. I don't see myself using this cookbook very often. It was a good concept but failed to deliver. .Date published: 2017-01-08Rated 5 out of 5 by jologo from Lovely book! Bought this book on a recent trip to NYC. Since purchasing it a few months ago, I cook from it at least twice a week. Easy to follow recipes are organized seasonally, and everything I've tried has turned out well (95% high satisfaction rate). I'm eating better, my husband is happy, and colleagues at the office are consistently jealous of my leftovers. This will be my gift of choice for the forseeable future. There are two other books in the series - Soups and Salads - that are also phenomenal. With all three you will always have a diverse and elegant range of menu options.Date published: 2013-03-05
