Rated 5 out of 5 by KathrynBA from Please bring this back I'm so disappointed that this product has been discontinued! It was a favorite with everyone in my family. Please bring it back so I can continue to make our favorite chicken lettuce wraps!Date published: 2016-02-19Rated 5 out of 5 by ScorpTO from Filipino Chicken Adobo This was AMAZING! I've grown up around Filipinos my whole live and one of my favorite dishes is Chicken Adobo. I was expecting this sauce to taste pretty good, I wasn't expecting it to taste like Chicken Adobo, so I was pleasantly surprised. I cooked it with 4 lbs of chicken and once it was done it disappeared in an instant. Even my normally picky eater of a father was impressed. I am immediately going to purchase more jars of this bracing sauce because it is undoubtedly a winner.Date published: 2015-12-05Rated 5 out of 5 by Mouseandbo from Delicious and Deep Flavorful and deep, this is really a way to make eating in feel special. I browned the thighs, added them to my dutch oven and baked for 1.5 hours. Served with jasmine rice and broccoli. Ordering many more.Date published: 2015-07-22Rated 5 out of 5 by DallasMissyD from Whole Family Loved It I was skeptical after the other reviews, but made this last night and my entire family 5 to 50 loved it. I browned boneless skinless thighs in olive oil in a dutch oven. After I drained the excess oil I added the chicken back with the sauce. Covered the pot and put it in a 350 oven for an hour and a half. It was perfect! Served it over brown rice. Will be buying several jars.Date published: 2015-01-30Rated 3 out of 5 by Skippy60 from My wife loved them Made the meatballs but used pork instead of chicken. A little salty but the recipe called for 2tsp. salt. Next time I will omit the salt. But it was very good. Ordering more when I finish this review.Date published: 2014-04-05Rated 1 out of 5 by BTcook from Really disappointed I made the ginger sesame lettuce wraps using the Ginger Sesame braising base for a Superbowl party. I was really disappointed. I've tried all of the Williams Sonoma braising bases and have loved all of them, but I have to say, this one falls short. It lacks traditional Asian flavor and is waay too salty. Sorry WS, this sauce gets a thumbs down from me.Date published: 2014-02-03Rated 5 out of 5 by Corimiranda from Wonderful lettuce wraps Made the pork lettuce wraps last night with this sauce and they were wonderful! Added sriracha, green onions and peanut sauce as toppings and couldn't be happier. I didn't think this was too sweet at all. I don't really like sweet dishes and I loved this. Will definitely be making it again!Date published: 2014-01-24Rated 1 out of 5 by Texasyaya from Way to sweet So disappointed in this sauce. It is way too sweet. I cannot believe I have wasted 6 lbs of chicken. This might appeal to kids because it is so sweet. But the soy flavor is also not great. Very cloying. So sorry WS, this is a loser.Date published: 2014-01-12
