Rated 5 out of 5 by livelaughloveeat from Garlic lovers dream I had to replace my favorite garlic presses after years and years and really wanted the same one but it is no longer made. I ordered this one from WS because I have had great luck with other WS brand products I have already purchased. Just like the other WS products I have used, this WS garlic press minces garlic with ease - holds large cloves and when you squeeze the handles to press the garlic, it presses the garlic through. Others I had tried only smashed the garlic cloves with very little garlic making it through the press. Way to go WS! I use my garlic press almost every day.Date published: 2017-01-17Rated 5 out of 5 by mermaid1111 from Works like a charm With all of the choices out there, It took me a long time to decide on this one. All of the other top contenders had bad reviews along with the good, and this one had no bad reviews. All of the high end garlic presses were said to have garlic ooze out of the side while pressing. This one does the same with elephant garlic, but I solved the problem by cutting the clove in 1/2. The well is big enough to handle quite a large clove or several smaller cloves at once. I can press with the skin on which saves a lot of time. The garlic comes out perfectly & uniformly minced, and the press is easy to clean. Since all of the other presses ooze out when the well is too full, I can't complain about that. I just learned how to work around it. Very simple: If the clove is too big for the well, cut it in half. The well is 3x's the size of my old garlic press; this only happens with the giant elephant garlic. I am VERY happy with my choice.Date published: 2016-03-29Rated 5 out of 5 by NancyBig from This Garlic Press is Worth It! When my old Williams Sonoma garlic press broke I was bummed. I loved that press and used it all the time. Unfortunately, they no longer offered the one I had. As a result, and based on reviews, I ordered this garlic press. Pricey, yes. But, it is wonderful. It is so much easier to use than my previous one. The garlic goes through easily, as if it is very sharp. There is much more garlic pressed, than with my previous one. It is easy to access and get the garlic out, although my previous one had a reverse push through I thought was even easier. I would order again in a heartbeat.Date published: 2016-03-10Rated 5 out of 5 by WannabeMartha5 from Best garlic press I love this garlic press! It's easy to use and easy to remove the paper skin from the tool. It's a nice size and does fit larger pieces of garlic. Easy to clean. Worth the price.Date published: 2016-01-03Rated 5 out of 5 by Urbanfarmgirl from Great cook's tool This is the best thing ever! I consider myself a proficient home cook and totally a gadget girl. I've had several garlic presses over the years and this is, by far, the best tool ever. It is efficient in extracting the garlic and easy to clean. Well worth the hefty price! I prefer pressing garlic to dicing it, less messy and my hands don't smell like garlic.Date published: 2015-03-29Rated 5 out of 5 by LeilaM from Worth Every Penny I've had several garlic presses and was just about to give up on the concept because they never seemed to work well and were a pain to clean. Finally I decided to fork out what seemed to be a ridiculous amount for a garlic press and-- trust me-- it's worth every penny. You don't even have to peel the garlic! It's easy to clean and seems like it will last a very long time, too. I've already purchased one for a gift. You'll love it!Date published: 2014-11-30
