Rated 1 out of 5 by denisemartinez from Expensive mistake We've had this popper for just over a year and noticed the diminished quality over time (we had to hover over it as it popped and use a long wooden spoon to nudge the popped popcorn or else it would get stuck in the chute and burn). Now the lever that releases more popcorn broke and the machine quit. Stay away from this product--if I could return it, I would.Date published: 2017-01-29Rated 1 out of 5 by Katje5 from Do Not Buy My kids bought this for me last Christmas. Their idea was perfect, but the machine is lousy for every one of the reasons listed by other reviewers. I wish I could return it.Date published: 2016-12-15Rated 1 out of 5 by PracticalShopper from Does not last I bought this machine last Christmas 2015 for my husband and it worked for 10 months and now just overheats and burns the kernels. We can no longer use it. Very short life for a expensive machine.Date published: 2016-12-13Rated 1 out of 5 by Beefy19 from Worked well once I purchased this as a gift for my wife as a way to have a single serving popcorn snack. It worked well the first time we used it and now it burns kernels and the air doesn't push out the popped kernels. We have tried different types and sizes of kernels with the same result. This is a waste of $$$.Date published: 2016-12-12Rated 1 out of 5 by Johnny719 from Worst popper ever We bought this machine because we liked the styling and thought it would look stylish left out on the counter rather than putting it away each time as we did with our previous machine. What a mistake, terrible popper, the popped kernels would get stuck in the chamber constantly unless you made a tiny amount it just couldn't handle it. It just felt cheap and shoddy. Don't bother purchasing, buy the Kitchen Aid version, simpler and much more effective.Date published: 2016-10-22Rated 1 out of 5 by nope from Disappointed I had to return this because it didn't pop the popcorn. I tried several times and it would only pop a few kernels at a time. Then the on button stuck in the off position, so I had to hold the button on for it to work. I used this item for about 20 minutes and boxed it up to return it. It was a big disappointment!Date published: 2016-08-19Rated 1 out of 5 by sweetben from didn't last two years Bought this for a friend. She was very happy with it and used it frequently. It burned out before she had it for two years.Date published: 2016-08-07Rated 1 out of 5 by Bigloaf from Nice Try but a lousy corn popper The concept intrigued me but they didn't do enough testing. Air popped popcorn is not the most tender so you look for small kernel popcorn which is more tender than the large kernel varieties. Due to the short popping chamber of this popper, it blows a lot (up to 40%) of the smaller kernel popcorn out before they are popped. Using larger kernel popcorn, most of the popcorn stays in the chamber before being popped but is tough and chewey. However it is also very quiet for an air popper. If you are looking to make gourmet popcorn, do not get this machine. Go with a conventional popper that uses oil and mechanical agitation.Date published: 2016-07-29
