Made by hand from start to finish, the cake is so rich that even a small portion will satisfy.
This cake was shipped frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, place cakes in the refrigerator or freezer. The cakes will keep unopened in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or up to 3 months frozen.
If frozen, thaw the cake in the refrigerator overnight. Approximately 2 hours before serving, remove the cake from the refrigerator and immediately peel off the wrapping. This is best done while the cake is chilled so the wrapping will not pull away the frosting. For optimum flavor, serve at room temperature. When slicing, use a hot, dry knife. Run the knife under hot water and dry it with a towel before each slice.
Cake: Butter, dark chocolate, Dutch cocoa powder, fresh eggs, vanilla extract, granulated sugar. Mousse: Heavy cream, powdered sugar, Dutch cocoa powder, vanilla extract and dry vanilla pudding mix (sugar and food starch modified and stabilizers).
