The luxurious Kobe-style meat has more marbling than conventional beef, with a higher percentage of unsaturated fat, which melts at lower temperatures to baste the meat with flavor as it cooks.
The brisket is shipped fresh with ice packs. Upon receipt place the brisket in the refrigerator. The brisket keeps refrigerated, up to 5 days, unopened. For optimal flavor and texture we do not recommend freezing.
