The moist, buttery sour cream cake is layered with crunchy roasted hazelnuts and brandy-infused plum slices and crowned with a shower of toasted hazelnuts. Try it with breakfast or brunch, enjoy it with afternoon tea or coffee or serve as dessert with dollops of whipped cream or ice cream.
The bundt cake was shipped frozen to arrive chilled. Upon receipt, refrigerate the cake, or wrap tightly and place in the freezer to serve at a later date. The unopened cake will keep at room temperature for up to 1 week, up to 2 weeks refrigerated and up to 2 months frozen. Tzurit suggests you enjoy the cake upon receipt, when they are at the peak of freshness.
To serve from frozen, thaw the cake in the refrigerator overnight. Approximately 1 to 2 hours prior to serving, remove the thawed cake from the refrigerator. For optimal flavor, serve the cake at room temperature.
