  • Chocolate? Nuts? Fruit? This assortment of petite tarts eliminates having to decide which you love most. Tzurit Or and her team of bakers at Tatte Fine Cookies & Cakes rolls out the rich, buttery crust for each by hand and fills them with an astonishing range of the finest ingredients. They’re all packaged in a simple brown kraft paper box adorned with a chocolate-brown ribbon.

    Mixed Nut: A mosaic of toasted cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans and pistachios mixed in a handmade caramel.

    Plum: Fresh plums rest on a hazelnut-and-Frangelico cream.

    Cheese and Blueberry Braid: A mix of fresh blueberries and sweetened cream cheese, topped with a braided homemade croissant dough.

    Apple: Caramelized sliced Granny Smith apples nestled in a rich, buttery tart shell.

    Belgian Chocolate: A chocolate tart shell filled with a velvety chocolate ganache.

    Pear: Poached Bosc pears mingle with an almond, amaretto and rum filling.

    Almond: Sliced toasted almonds and a handmade caramel resting in a buttery tart shell.

    Pecan: Rows of toasted pecans drizzled with handmade caramel.

  • Care Instructions

    The tart was shipped frozen to arrive chilled. Upon receipt, refrigerate the tarts, or wrap tightly and place in the freezer to serve at a later date. The tarts will keep unopened, up to 5 days, and up to 1 month frozen. Tzurit suggests you enjoy the tarts upon receipt, when they are at the peak of freshness.

    To serve from frozen, thaw the tarts in the refrigerator overnight. Approximately 1 to 2 hours prior to serving, remove the thawed tarts from the refrigerator. Serve at room temperature. If desired, warm the chocolate and fruit tarts in a preheated 350°F for 5 to 10 minutes.

About Tatte Fine Cookies & Cakes

Tzurit Or has been baking ever since her childhood in Israel, when she would help her mother cook holiday sweets. Tzurit grew up to become an acclaimed filmmaker, but when she moved to the United States in 2004, she started to re-create the baked goods of her youth. She began selling her exquisitely made and artfully designed nut-and-caramel pastry “boxes” and tarts at Boston farmers’ markets in 2007, and soon opened a small shop in Brookline, Mass., that was an instant hit.
