Nothing compares to swordfish fresh off the grill. As meaty as a steak, the fish requires little more than salt, pepper and a sprinkle of herbs, butter or oil to shine. Maine’s Browne Trading has partnered with famous local swordfish captain Linda Greenlaw, whose fishing boat Hannah Boden was featured in the 1991 documentary The Perfect Storm. These are her select swordfish steaks—the best catch of the day. They are never frozen, but stored in salt water ice in the fish hold of her boat for peak freshness.

- Use & Care
- The swordfish ships fresh with ice packs. Upon receipt, refrigerate the fish, or freeze to serve at a later date. To freeze, remove the fish from its original packaging and store in an airtight freezer bag. (Remove as much air as possible from the bag to prevent freezer burn.) It will keep refrigerated up to 4 days, or frozen up to 3 months.
- Remove the wrapped fish from the freezer and let thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Place the frozen package on a plate or tray to catch any juices that accumulate during thawing.
