Rated 1 out of 5 by Aerides from Avoid! Rusts and spills out brown rusty soap - ew This reacts with the soap and spews out brown rusty colored soap around the seal, and often then over down the side of the soap bottle and onto the counter. Gross. Great idea, terrible execution. Don't do it!Date published: 2017-03-03Rated 1 out of 5 by Shgreen from Poor quality These looked great when I purchased them. They look so much nicer by your sink than the plastic ones but unfortunately mine rusted too. At first I could wipe the rust off but then it got to the point that I couldn't so I had four and I had to throw them all away don't waste your money.Date published: 2016-12-27Rated 1 out of 5 by FaithMasters from Don't be tempted to buy one! I bought 4 of these and use them very little (one person household). They look good for about a week before the rust pops up. Not a little spot, but A LOT of rust. It was a waste of money. WS, you should pull these from your shelf or sell them at a "nearly disposable" price.Date published: 2016-10-21Rated 5 out of 5 by Studio416 from Pump upgrade I have had a number of these over the years. I like that they look more custom than a plastic pump. After a while, the soap pumps have cracked, leaked and gotten a bit rusty. (This hasn't happened to me with the lotion.) There were a number of reviews mentioning this, but for the look, and the price, I still give it 5 stars. Only know that they don't last forever.Date published: 2016-07-27Rated 1 out of 5 by mgentel from Don't waste your money I loved the idea that I could use a stainless pump along with the silver caddy at my kitchen sink. I first saw the rust around the base of the pump and would continually wipe it clean. Inconvenient... but no big deal. I still liked the look. Today... I discovered that the base split in two places. I don't think I've even used this pump for a full year. William Sonoma shouldn't even offer this item for sale. Include it as an option... stainless pump or plastic. At least when it has to be thrown away... I don't feel like I paid extra money for it. Very disappointed in this product.Date published: 2016-06-06Rated 1 out of 5 by AnnieWoods from Faulty soaop pumps My problem is not that the tops split but that the soap backs up and cakes around the base of the pump, then runs down the side of the bottle making a puddle on the counter. They replaced them once but I still have the problem, but only with the soap, not the lotion. This time I want them to send me 3 plastic pumps and a refund. Very disappointed because they usually have good quality merchandise.Date published: 2016-03-31Rated 1 out of 5 by cherylh124 from doesn't last with hand soap I purchased two soap/lotion sets, one in lemon and one in lavendar. The SS pumps were advertised as non-rust. On BOTH sets, there was corrosion on the pumps used to deliver the soap. Lotion was fine. The corrosion eventually split the metal and rust gummed up both at the neck and at the pump opening. It was a real mess and looked horrible, and dribbled rusty soap down the side. I specifically bought these because they were advertised to avoid this (a few years ago, don't remember when). I'm disappointed to come online and see it is years later and the problem still exists.Date published: 2016-03-25Rated 1 out of 5 by Jla123 from Not Worth It I have bought several of these and they have all cracked and leaked at the base. I've also exchanged several, but the replacements cracked as well. I won't buy this again.Date published: 2015-12-12
