Rated 5 out of 5 by Anni2664 from Beautiful! Hate to use it it's that beautiful I followed the directions and used treated the wood, then waited a few days before use. Perfect! it's so nice to know exactly how much move rolling out you need to do to get the perfect size pie crust. I also made bread, and kneading the dough on the board made clean up very easy; and the board never moved! Like others have written, this will never be used as a cutting board; it's too beautiful.Date published: 2017-02-26Rated 5 out of 5 by Quarters2413 from One of My Favorite Kitchen Purchases This has been such a great tool for me in the kitchen. I like the overall size as I can keep my mess to this surface. It's great for measuring pie crusts when rolling them out and it doesn't slide around on our countertops.Date published: 2016-09-19Rated 5 out of 5 by LacyL from Lovely addition to my kitchen This board is beautiful and handy. I love to cook and bake but I do make a big, fat mess every time, so by the time I am rolling the dough, counter space is at a premium. I just slap this over the burners on the stove and make extra space. It also displays beautifully with my other wood kitchen tools. This is hands down superior to the vinyl prep mats if you have the space to display or store it.Date published: 2016-07-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Bunnyluver from Amazing Pastry Board! This pastry board is the perfect size for my New York apt. The reversible was way too big for my small kitchen. In addition, it is of good quality and looks great on my counter top. It can be easily stored as well. I am very happy with my purchase!Date published: 2014-12-16Rated 5 out of 5 by JIWA from Great for the long haul This is an excellent pastry board. I've had mine for about 25 years. When I saw this I had to write a review. It is sturdy, the printing is still readily visible, it has held up through long haul moves (several) and still is the best for rolling out my dough, making a great crust to size and measuring the cuts for my cinnamon rolls. I have used this pastry board several times a week for decades. Worth every penny, and I think I paid the same price for it way back when... to clean I simply scrape off the flour excess with my bench knife and damp dry with a clean cloth.Date published: 2014-10-22Rated 5 out of 5 by GrammyBaker from Nicest Pastry Board I've Seen I was very excited to get this board and have used it several times for making pies. I love the circles as well as he edge ruler. It is displayed on my counter since it's just too lovely and useful to put away. I love this board and highly recommend it to anyone who loves to bake pies!Date published: 2014-10-15Rated 1 out of 5 by CricketsMommy from Poor Quality Pastry Board I purchased this board last week and was extremely disappointed with the poor workmanship. The board is very rough and appears that it was not properly sanded. There are wood fibers sticking out all over the board, which I attempted to remove by scrubbing with a rough sponge, but to no avail. My husband said that it needs to be sanded. Additionally, it smells very much like the wood sold at hardware stores, which makes me distrust it for preparing food. I have never seen such defects in any prep boards/cutting boards ever.Date published: 2014-03-22
