Smoked Rainbow Trout Fillet
Milder in flavor than salmon, this smoked rainbow trout has a delicate, moist and flaky texture and a sweet, smoky flavor with subtle notes of lemon, garlic and soy. The fish are sustainably farm raised, cured and expertly hot-smoked over fruitwoods at a smokehouse in Portland, Maine. The trout is delicious as an hors d’oeuvre, mixed into dips, flaked over salads and added to sandwiches.

- The smoked trout was shipped chilled with ice packs. Upon receipt, refrigerate the trout, or freeze to serve at a later date. It will keep refrigerated up to 2 weeks, or frozen up to 6 months, unopened.
- Remove the trout from the freezer and let thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Place the frozen package on a plate or tray to catch any condensation that may accumulate during thawing.
