Made in Germany of gleaming 18/10 stainless steel, this extra-sturdy food mill simultaneously performs the work of a food processor and a sieve. Turning the comfortable hand crank is all it takes to puree fresh fruits and vegetables to your choice of two consistencies. Forcing the produce through the perforated disc separates seeds and skins from its rich pulp – a great advantage over the food processor. Use it for making mashed potatoes, apple sauce, salsa, baby foods and soups. With it come two 5 1/2" diam. discs: with 1mm perforations for refined sauces and fruit jellies; with 3mm perforations for soups and other foods with a thick consistency.
