Shrimp & Grits
Shrimp and grits is a beloved classic of Southern cuisine. Our version is prepared following a traditional recipe by a Louisiana company famous for its regional specialties. The dish combines creamy, soft grits with plump shrimp and smoky bacon. All the work is done for you; just thaw and reheat in a saucepan, and serve as hearty main dish for brunch, lunch or dinner.

- The shrimp and grits were shipped to you frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, place in the freezer where it will keep up to 1 year, or thaw and use within 1 week.
- Thaw the shrimp and grits in refrigerator overnight, or thaw under cold running water until fluid. Cut open one end of packaging and pour into saucepan. Slowly warm the shrimp and grits over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes, until completely heated through.
- Water, shrimp, (shrimp, water, sodium tripolyphosphate, salt), enriched quick-cooking grits (white hominy griats, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin, mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), pasteurized processed cheese spread (cultured milk, water, cream, skim milk, whey, sodium phosphates, salt, natural flavor, vegetable color, guar gum, enzymes, corn starch, cellulose ([anticaking agent]), salted butter (cream, salt), bacon bits (cured with water, salt, sodium erythorbate, sodium nitrite. May also contain smoke flavoring, sugar, extrose, brown sugar, sodium phosphates, potassium chloride, flavoring), bacon-flavored fat (rendered bacon-flavored fat, TBHQ and citric acid added to improve stability), slat, dehydrated garlic, chives, spice.
