Rated 5 out of 5 by intv98 from Beautiful, Yet Sturdy I purchased the Schott Zwiesel Fortissimo Bordeaux glasses as a replacement for a set of Spiegelau glasses. I have been attempting to find a replacement for some of my broken Spiegelau glasses for about a year, but most of the reasonably priced glasses were completely inferior to my originals (including two different sets of Spiegelau). I decided to give the Fortissimo a try and I have not been disappointed, The bowl seems to be a good quality and appears to only be slightly thicker than my former set. The bowl is also more elongated than my original set and the bottom of the bowl is not as bulbous, but I find there to be no perceptible difference in the taste of my favorite cabs. One warning I might offer for potential buyers is to measure the height of your intended storage space as these glasses are quite tall. I am very satisfied with my selection and I would not hesitate to buy these glasses again.Date published: 2013-09-30Rated 5 out of 5 by Mariatini from Luxurious glasses! Love these glasses! They are very elegant and we love drinking from a thin crystal glass. Very happy with these.Date published: 2013-08-24Rated 5 out of 5 by KBZN from Beautiful, Elegant glasses I have had these glasses for about a year now and they are gorgeous. I disagree with the last reviewer who said they are cheap and gave it 1 star. These glasses have been knocked over on a glass-top table and didn't break! I was shocked. They are tall and big (for "typical" wine glasses) so you do have to be careful handling them.Date published: 2012-11-26Rated 1 out of 5 by Andyinsd from Cheep Cheep Cheep Very Cheep glasses.
