Designer Karen Kjældgård-Larsen created the Mega series as a witty update of Royal Copenhagen's signature porcelain Blue Fluted collection. Oversized and seeming to float on the white porcelain, the patterns of cobalt-blue blossoms, medallions and sprigs bring a fresh perspective to the 230-year-old design. Like all Blue Fluted ware, the pieces are hand painted with delicate brushstrokes over the fluted surface, so no two are exactly alike. Microwavable and dishwasher safe. Dinner Plate, 10 3/4" diam.; Salad Plate, 8 3/4" diam.; Bread and Butter Plate, 6 3/4" diam.; Teacup, 8.25-oz. cap.; Saucer, 5 3/4" diam.; Rimmed Soup Bowl, 8 1/4" diam.; Cereal Bowl, 12-oz. cap., 2 1/4" high; Mugs, 11-oz. cap., 4 1/2" high.
