Pickard Seder Plate
Be the first to Write a Review -
This beautiful plate stands at the center of the Passover seder, a joyful and ceremonial meal. An heirloom piece that will be used for generations, it’s crafted of glazed porcelain with a hand-painted rim of platinum or 24-karat gold. In accordance with tradition, the main plate displays the Hebrew word Pesach (Passover) inside a Star of David while the six individual dishes are labeled with the symbolic foods of the seder. The set is made for us by Pickard, an Illinois-based maker of porcelain since 1893; their dinnerware graces some of the most elegant tables in the world, from fine hotels to American embassies. Dishwasher safe. Plate, 11 1/2" diam.; individual dishes, 3 3/4" diam. Set of seven. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.
