Chimichurri Chicks in a Blanket

Care Instructions:

• The chicks in a blanket were shipped frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, place the chicks in a blanket in the freezer where they will keep up to 3 months.

Baking Instructions:

• Preheat an oven to 375ºF. Remove the frozen chicks in a blanket from the packaging and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Whisk together 1 egg and 2 tsp. water. Brush the top and sides of the pastry with the egg mixture. Bake until the pastry is golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

• Puff pastry (enriched unbleacehd wheat flour [wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid], butter [pasturized cream], water, sea salt), chicken sausage (chicken, chicken skins, water, sea salt, vinegar, dextrose, spices, sugar, dehydrated garlic, burgundy wine powder [maltodextrin, modified corn starch, corn starch, corn syrup, burgundy wine solids, natural flavors, sorbic acid, sulfites and malic acid], vinegar powder [maltodextrin, acetic acid], cilantro, parsley flakes).
