From New England’s legendary Nashoba bakery, this classic sourdough bread derives its complex character from local wild yeasts in the starter, made from wild concord grapes harvested from the banks of the Nashoba Brook. Artisan bakers leaven the bread using a slow-rise process that further enhances the flavor, giving the finished loaves a mild, tangy taste. Requiring 24 hours to prepare from start to finish, the hand-shaped loaves are baked in old-style hearth ovens for a crisp, golden crust that beautifully complements the moist, supple crumb.

- This bread has been shipped at ambient temperature. The bread can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days, or frozen up to 1 month.
- If frozen, thaw the bread at room temperature for approximately 3 hours. Preheat oven to 375˚F and bake for 10-13 minutes. To refresh room temperature bread, adjust cooking time by 5 minutes.
- Unbleached unbromated wheat flour ((wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid) malted barley flour), filtered water, natural sourdough starter, organic whole wheat flour, sea salt.
