- Use & Care
- Each time you use this skillet, apply a thin layer of vegetable oil to the cooking surface and preheat the pan slowly before adding food.
- Always hand wash skillet with hot water and a stiff nylon brush; do not use soap or harsh detergents.
- Dry thoroughly and apply a small amount of vegetable oil on inside and outside surfaces while pan is still warm.
- Store skillet in a dry location.

For an additional charge of $17.50 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. Orders received by 9:00 p.m., Eastern time, Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

It really lived up to all its hype and I instantly became a loyal cast iron fan shortly after the first use. I cooked chicken under a brick in this pan and it just came out better than I had ever imagined. I couldn't believe I cooked this dish. The pan had a lot to do with it because the ingredients I used were pretty basic, nothing fancy. This pan is one of my favorites I even take it with me on camping trips. I bought the 10 inch skillet several years ago and it is a real trooper. It takes a little bit to heat up, but once it does it does a great job of keeping the heat. I also use it on my BBQ where it's perfect for items that drip grease, making a deep dish pizza, or fish that falls apart easily on a grill. Remember never to soak it in water or you'll cause it to rust, and will then have to do some work to get it back in shape. Just scrape out those bits left over and give it a good wipe down. Once you season the pans some more as per instructions on the web, they cook fabulously, clean up with just water and a stiff brush. Dry thoroughly and then wipe with a thin layer of oil and then they are ready for the next time. I am slowly getting a full set! I do not cook with any other pan!! They will last for a last time if you treat them well! It is so simple: heat, add your favorite oil/butter (just enough for a thin coating) and then cook. I love doing scrambled eggs or omelets. They never stick. When I clean it, I use a soft green scrubbie with a little bit of liquid Dawn. Wash, rinse and place on stove with the heat on low to dry. By the time I am done with the rest of the dish, the pan is cool enough to put away. Though, I must admit that I keep it on the stove all the time since I use it every day. I bought this skillet because of the extra little handle so that I can easily pick it up. My only wish is that this skillet had a cover. There isn't really much one can say about a cast iron pans. You either like them or you don't. I like this pan. It's a nice size, fits a standard burner perfectly, heats evenly. It is quite heavy but with the extra small handle is easier to pick up and move about. I have washed it per instructions except I do use soap on the outside. I'm a messy cook. I also purchased one for my granddaughter.
