All three are indeterminate vines, which means their fruit will ripen in batches, for multiple harvests throughout the growing season.
San Marzano: Ancestor of the Roma, the San Marzano is among the best paste tomatoes in the world, a classic for canning and sauces and delicious slow-roasted or sun-dried.
Costoluto Genovese: Deeply ribbed, intensely flavorful red tomatoes that have been a favorite of Italian cooks for centuries. Wonderful fresh, canned or in sauces. Fruit is approx. 3" diam.
Black Krim: Large (6" diam.) fruit with color that ranges from red to purple to nearly black. Firm and juicy, with a slightly salty flavor that makes them a great choice for eating fresh, alone or in salads or sandwiches.
