Our six-pack of sustainably grown bush bean starts will provide you with a steady supply of green beans in varying lengths and thicknesses. The versatile vegetable takes well to a variety of cooking techniques, from boiling, steaming and sautéing to canning and pickling. Abundant producers, these varieties are easy to grow and disease resistant. Both the tender pods and the small seeds within have a mild, fresh, sweet taste.

Blue Lake: Smooth 6" to 6 1/2" long green pods with firm, crisp texture.

Contender: Early-producing variety with long, smooth 6"–8" long green pods with light-tan seeds.

Slenderette: Produces very high yields of slender, 5"–6" long bright-green pods with that are exceptionally tender yet crisp. Ideal for freezing.
