Again, thank you so much.Date published: 2015-04-22Rated 5 out of 5 by TheUnsungChef92 from Cannot beat this Razorsharp deal I ONLY bought this knife because it was cheap and so i wouldn't feel bad if someone stole it (I am a college student living with room mates) but when i got it home it sliced apples paper thin, cut pork tenderloin to fine slices, minced, and diced veggies, glided through iceberg lettuce and went above and beyond my expectations.. AND its a pretty slick looking knife! the drop point santoku style blade made cutting way easier while the 7" blade length was highly maneuverable and easy to handle while not being too much or too little to work with. speaking of handles, the plastic handle was easy to grip and fit well in my hand (big hands). HOWEVER when I tried cutting a tomato the cut was uneven and didn't handle the skin very well, otherwise the knife for the price is wonderful and I will give an update as to how fast it dulls since i only just bought it a week ago. excellent choice for a college wannabe chef ;)Date published: 2013-05-15
