These lava cakes ship frozen with dry ice. Upon receipt, store the unopened cakes in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 1 year.
Thaw the lava cake in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
Preheat an oven to 400°F.
Place the lava cake on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake until the cake is set and the center disk of chocolate is completely melted, about 10 to 12 minutes.
Let the cake rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
