We’re pleased to offer two classic fresh cheeses from Italy, offered individually or as a set. Both are made using a technique known as pasta filata or “stretched curd,” which gives the cheeses their characteristic toothsome texture. Made from fresh cow’s milk and cream, burrata cheese has been a delicacy in Italy since the 1920s. Made from pasteurized whole buffalo milk, mozzarella di bufala is the most prized of all fresh mozzarella cheeses. Both cheeses are delicious served on everything from bruschetta to crackers to sliced bread

- Burrata combines supple and toothsome fresh mozzarella filled with a lusciously rich and creamy mixture of mozzarella curd and cream.
- The burrata is stretched and formed by hand at a small family diary in Adria, Puglia.
- Buffalo mozzarella has a smooth, supple consistency and a sweet, delicate flavor with the subtle tang characteristic of buffalo milk.
- Mozzarella is hand made daily in small batches by a family-run producer in Campania, Italy, that maintains the highest standards to ensure a consistent, fresh, traditional product.

- It is best stored in a vegetable bin or container away from the refrigerator fan.
