- Use & Care
- The steaks are shipped frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, refrigerate or freeze to enjoy at a later date. The steaks keep refrigerated, up to 5 days, unopened, or up to 3 months frozen. If frozen, remove the steaks from the freezer and thaw in the refrigerator overnight. We recommend placing the steaks on a tray during thawing to catch any juices. For best quality, we do not recommend refreezing the steaks after they have been thawed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeagleMom from Incredible, delectable, incomparable My mom sent me these as a gift and as a devoted foodie, I was delighted. The steaks are well-marbled and a nice, thick cut. We seasoned with just coarse salt and pepper and grilled to perfection. As world travelers, my husband and I were blown away by the quality and flavor. In fact, we ate every single morsel, including the fat because it was that good.Date published: 2014-07-27Rated 1 out of 5 by Zuma from Extremely pricey and a lot of fat Due to the amount of fat around the outside, and large chunks of fat marbled through the steaks making that fat impossible to trim, you end up with no more than approximately 6 oz. of edible meat per steak, before cooking, bringing the price up to around $37 per pound. That makes it double the price of what can be found in stores/butchers, even here in New York City.Date published: 2012-01-21
