This mold turns out a dozen delectable little cakes called bouchons, the French word for corks, from which they take their shape. Made of flexible silicone – the first choice of many pastry chefs – the mold heats evenly and cools quickly. Serve the brownie-like desserts warm with just a dusting of confectioners' sugar, or plate them individually and drizzle with a rich chocolate sauce or crème anglaise and a sprinkling of chopped nuts. Heat-resistant to 500°F and naturally nonstick, the silicone releases evenly baked pastries every time without greasing or flouring in advance.
