- Asparagus Milanese
Steam the asparagus
Fill a fry pan with 1 inch of water and bring to a boil over high heat. Add the asparagus, cover and cook until bright green and crisp-tender, 3 to 4 minutes. Drain and divide the asparagus among 4 plates. Wipe out the pan with paper towels.
Cook the eggs
In the same pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Carefully break the eggs into the pan, and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the whites and yolks are set, about 4 minutes. Using a wide spatula, place 1 egg on each serving of asparagus.
Add the shallot and panko to the pan and sauté until the crumbs are golden, about 2 minutes. Sprinkle over the eggs and serve immediately. Serves 4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mamacancook from Great Little Tool! I was given this as a gift and at first I thought it was not something I needed since I have a big Cuisinart food processor and a professional immersion blender. Well, I have definitely changed my thoughts on that! It's a great little tool to whip up some pesto or salad dressing or just chop a few veggies when I don't feel like pulling out (and washing) my mega food processor. Big enough for those small jobs and it is very powerful. Goes right into the dishwasher. Love it!!!Date published: 2016-10-03Rated 5 out of 5 by Idella from Cuisinart Food Prep Can't say enough good things about this mini prep. It's so easy to use and store I wish I had purchased one of these years ago. It's perfect for mincing small batches of vegetables, onions, and pickles.Date published: 2016-08-07Rated 3 out of 5 by wholefoodie from works great but soooo noisy I have wanted this food processor for some time and finally ordered it from W.S. It works quite well, but the sound is so loud when it's turned on. Quite ear piercing.Date published: 2016-07-31Rated 5 out of 5 by rosieposie from cute little helper This mini food processor is great for all sorts of quick little chopping chores. It gets the job done quickly, is easy to clean, and looks really cute, too.Date published: 2016-05-17Rated 1 out of 5 by rosienewfoundcooking from should not have shipped This is should be a nice little product since I have had one at another residence. However, the blade housing was cracked and I asked for a refund or exchange, which was processed fairly quickly. However, the returning of the item is a challenge. Day after day the item is not picked up and day after day WS asked me to put it out on the porch with no results. The crack was probably innocently overlooked.Date published: 2015-09-19Rated 4 out of 5 by abz37 from workhorse... but won't last forever I've had this mini food processor for years now. Over time the plastic has begun to crack and the buttons stick and the only way to stop the blades is to turn and unlock it while running or unplug it from the wall. Otherwise you have to bang on both buttons for awhile trying to make it stop. Overall it gets certain jobs done, like mincing onions, chopping nuts, making pesto and sauces, etc. The removable parts are dishwasher safe and it's small for storage. The cons are that it is *too* small if you don't own a regular-size food processor. I don't need a regular size yet, but once in awhile I make something that requires multiple batches bc this is too small, its capacity is really less than 3 cups. Also you cannot pour liquid in while it runs (as many recipes want), it only has 2 tiny holes in the lid, and really you just need to cover those at all times to avoid splatter. Don't expect this to be a true food processor, but it's a great small tool!Date published: 2015-07-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Cardlady01 from Great little food processor! I have been surprised at the effectiveness of this small food processor. It quickly minces anything you need for your meal prep. I am very happy with mine.Date published: 2015-01-28Rated 5 out of 5 by Wellingtontd from 3 cup mini pret I like the size for myself, since I don't chop or dice to much, I will have to return one for a larger size for my sonDate published: 2013-10-02
