Rated 5 out of 5 by BAFA from LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this tool! This is the best tool ever for cubing avocado. Cut it in half, pit it, and then push in to very bottom of avocado, twist, gently twist again as lifting it out, and it easily comes out as if in a scoop. A tap or two top down into container and wallah! The best ever... And it's super easy to clean. This is my second Avocado Cuber from W-S as I'm going to gift it to one of my daughters who actually has avocados growing on her property. She's going to love it. I use it at least 2-3 times a week as avocados are great with drizzled with Mango Balsamic and some fresh basil.Date published: 2016-06-14Rated 5 out of 5 by CarolMonty from Great little tool Love this tool for cubing avocados. Easy to use and does a great job.Date published: 2016-01-08Rated 5 out of 5 by GizmoCyn from I LOVE THIS THING It is so easy, cut, remove pit, push into half of avo and twist - Tap on plate or bowl for easy removal of fruit. I don't know how I ever lived without it. My only dislike is that I no longer HAVE to clean up the inside of the skin with a spoon, which I then get to eat. It was far harder to post this review than use the tool.Date published: 2015-10-20Rated 5 out of 5 by WestieFan from Great Tool! The Avocado Cuber is a tool I didn't know I needed. Now that I have it, I don't know how I lived without it. I use it almost every day to add avocado to our lunch salads or to quickly prep for guacamole. The most important thing to know about this tool is when you are pressing into the avocado half be sure all of the skin is touching the wire so that you can feel the cage against your hand to assure you get all the avocado. If the avocado is slightly overripe, you may need to use a scooping motion to "clean" the skin off. No dicing needed. EnjoyDate published: 2015-08-03Rated 5 out of 5 by MimisToys from Fast and Easy! I found this little gem while browsing the gadget section. Just like the included directions (illustrations, too) say, hold the avocado half in your palm, press the cuber into the avocado, and twist (rotate). Then lift the tool out! The edges of the avocado cubes will be a little messy, as you're working with thicker wires vs. a knife, but this is so fast and easy!!Date published: 2015-03-20Rated 1 out of 5 by exqual from Made Mess of Cubes In contrast to other reviewers, I found this to make a mess of an avocado half and that it was awkward to use. Admittedly I haven't mastered the technique that other reviewers must have used. But to be fair, you might have trouble using this unless you find a way to do so easily. It cut into cubes when pressed down hard. But they clung to the wires and I could not easily scrape it all out of the half leaving only skin on. I had to pick cubes out instead.Date published: 2015-02-09Rated 5 out of 5 by kitajib from What a great invention! Makes cubing an avocado super easy and less messy.Date published: 2014-09-29Rated 5 out of 5 by smoshlak from Unfreakin' believable! I own a lot of ktchen gadgets from W-S, including the banana slicer, strawberry slicer, pineapple slicer, Multi-Chopper, etc. and all are GREAT tools, but this one really takes the cake. I have had a problem with avocados in this is the solution. I wish it came with directions, because it was a little intimidating at first, like how does it work? I strive for perfection, so it wasn't all that bad, on the learning curve. Once you get the hang of it (one or two avocados), you'll wonder where this tool has been hiding.Date published: 2013-09-07
