Galaxy Desserts Apple Turnovers, Set of 12

Receiving instructions

• The turnovers ship frozen with dry ice. Please take care not to touch the dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, place the turnovers in the freezer, where they will keep for up to 3 months.

Preparation

• Thaw turnovers at room temperature for 30 minutes. Preheat an oven to 425°F. Place the turnovers on a parchment-lined baking sheet and lightly press the edges closed. If desired, lightly beat 1 egg with 1 Tbs. cold water and, using a pastry brush, brush the turnovers with the egg wash. Using a sharp paring knife, lightly score the top of each turnover with 3 diagonal slashes and poke 2 steam vents in the top. Bake until the pastry is golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
