Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Beautiful tableware I've had my wokbowls and plates for nearly 9 months now and love them. Some broke in shipping and they're not the most robust dishes I've ever had, but food looks great on them, we use them nearly everyday and they (the wokbowls particularly) work for nearly everything I serve. I don't think I'd want whole sets though as it would possibly be too much.Date published: 2016-02-23Rated 5 out of 5 by justG from fabulous beautiful dishes These dishes are so beautiful. They have a glaze but look matte. They have such a glow with sunlight and contrast well with all decors. I also had breakage with some bowls. Had to return and have replaced. Worth it.Date published: 2016-02-14Rated 5 out of 5 by AEDP from The Ultimate Rice and Noodle Bowls These bowls are perfect for rice or noodle bowls. Deep enough to hold large quantities of vegetables with rice or broth. Great quality - they don't chip and stack nicely in the cabinet.Date published: 2016-02-11Rated 5 out of 5 by frw1 from Great product I adore the bowls, plates, and wok bowls from this set. They wear well and do not scratch at all. My only complaint is the packing used for shipping is nonexistent. Expect breakage and be prepared to request replacement on some pieces. The large plates tend to survive shipping better than the bowls. Be aware the plates in the set are huge and may be a problem for some dishwashers. But gorgeous!Date published: 2016-02-06Rated 2 out of 5 by ApprenticeCook from Lovely but incomplete collection Actually, I think these plates are beautiful. I bought them about a year ago and, frankly, have been afraid to use them until recently. The first set of Wokplates arrived with a shattered plate. WmS graciously replaced them. The second set arrived with a shattered Wokplate. The dinner plates are so large we've had to adjust our dishwasher to fit them in. So we wash the dinner plates by hand. There are no coffee cups, etc. WmS rep told us they have no plans to add other pieces. Expect shabby packaging, a broken item or two, & some hand washing. Look at the dimensions tab before buying! I'm more comfortable using my bone china (fits in the dishwasher) every day than the Reglisse. Regret I just didn't return them all when the 2nd broken Wokplate came.Date published: 2015-08-17Rated 5 out of 5 by QMech from Simply Gorgeous The Apilco Reglisse black plate set is simply gorgeous. The wok plate works well for thin sauced serving. The large 12" plate works well as a charger, too. The bowl serves white rice or pilaf beautifully. These plates also go well with white for contrast. These plates are high temperature fired, so they are quite durable under careful use. The porcelain seems of high quality. - the bowl rings nicely. For everyday use, not sure how well they will hold up with knife wear; they should hold up with fork wear. This depends on the thickness and strength of the glaze.Date published: 2015-01-31
