Rated 5 out of 5 by GreyGhost54 from Amazing for Everything! I love this Copper Core Sauteuse and cannot recommend it enough! It's great for everything: searing, stir-frying, sauteing, simmering (e.g., risotto). I use the sauteuse almost every day and it's a perfect size and weight. And as with the entire Copper Core line, it is absolutely beautiful. It also cleans pretty easily; I usually pour some hot water (after cooking and when its cooled down a bit), let it soak a bit before washing and I've never had a problem. Sometimes, there are stains but nothing Bar-Keeper's Friend hasn't been able to get out. I am willing to pay more to purchase items made in the US and made with quality and the Copper Core Sauteuse delivers all that and wonderful, consistent performance. Highly recommended!Date published: 2016-04-04Rated 5 out of 5 by MarkB from I like this pan. This pan is an ideal size and All-Clad has finally put a domed lid on an everyday pan. I hate the flat lids that drip all over your stovetop. To be honest though, if I was just starting out buying cookware I would buy the regular old Tri-Ply before the Copper Core...better value and easier to maintain. This pan appears to be induction compatible.Date published: 2016-01-11Rated 4 out of 5 by Katiebell from This is a great for everything pan I bought this to replace my old 10 inch nonstick pan. The size is perfect for one pot meals; it sautés beautifully and is great for both fast and slow cooking. It is my new go to pan. Unlike the Cruset pans I also own, this is relatively lightweight and easy to clean.Date published: 2015-04-16Rated 5 out of 5 by PeatMoss from Love this Pan! I purchased the Copper Core Sauteuse pan six months ago. It's versatile - great for preparing sauces, pasta dishes, braising chicken or pork chops or sauteing vegetables. The loop handles take up less space on the stove and it's pretty enough to serve at the table. Clean up is easy-I use bar keepers friend with all of my Copper Core pots and it keeps them looking brand new.Date published: 2014-05-27Rated 5 out of 5 by RobinDensford from Better alternative to 3qt sauté If you're considering the 3qt sauté pan . . .compare the pan dimensions with this pan. The dimensions are exactly the same. I didn't realize that when I picked this up, but already had a 3 qt sauté pan. Quite honestly, since purchasing this pan, I've not used the 3qt sauté since. I prefer the two loop handles as they take up less room on the stove top than the long handle does (though pot holders do need to be used, of course). If you need one or the other pan . . .this one is, IMHO better and less expensive.Date published: 2014-03-02Rated 4 out of 5 by MaryBR from A really good multi purpose pan I really love this pan, as I do the smaller one I bought years ago. One of the nicest things is that it's pretty enough to serve from when I want to take it to the buffet -- or when I serve from the stove. It cooks great, either slow cooking or faster. Even my husband and son commented on how nice it is. My one disappointment is that the inside bottom doesn't clean up without white spots. I follow the instructions to the letter, but the first time I used it I ended up with spots, and I know they'll never go away. That happened with the smaller one also. It's OK, it doesn't affect the cooking; I'd just like for it to clean up shiny like the instructions said it could.Date published: 2013-02-21
