From our premium Kaji line by Shun, this chef’s knife is designed for chopping, dicing, mincing and slicing fruits and vegetables. Blending new technology with centuries-old traditions of handcraftsmanship, the blade’s core of exotic SG-2 powdered steel is clad with a true Damascus layer of forged nickel and stainless steel to form an exceptionally sharp cutting edge. The beautiful PakkaWood handle is shaped for comfort and control. 6", 8" or 10" blade. Made in Japan.
- Always use caution when handling sharp objects.
- Hand wash with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse and dry immediately.
- Regular use of the Shun honing steel maintains cutting edge.
- Sharpen knives as needed. This can be done by a professional or at home, using a whetstone or a knife sharpener configured exclusively for Shun cutlery.
- Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal or glass.
- Store knives in a safe place to protect edge and prevent injury.
